It's A Wonderful World
Well, for those of you that know me I'm sure you won't be surprised to find that my first entry is about my most recent fandom: The World Ends with You, a sparkling and trendy adventure rpg from Square Enix and Jupiter on the Nintendo DS. The first thing you'll notice about TWEWY, as it is known endearingly, is the character art done by Tetsuya Nomura, famed for the Kingdom Hearts design. If you weren’t a fan of the Square Disney mix-up then don’t be so quick to write TWEWY off. The storyline is deep and involving while sometimes dark, the characters are well fleshed out with good development, and the game play is all-consuming! Who doesn’t want to while the day away buying flashy new clothes according to popular brands?
Initially the battle system may seem daunting, but automatic take-over is your friend! Take time to get to know your stylus motions on the touch screen and you’ll soon by acing the combat.
With so many plot twists to expose and so much mastering to do, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
